Street claim: EVMs cannot be trusted

After tight elections, opposition camps and many citizens allege EVM manipulation. Election Commission and courts have repeatedly defended the system with VVPAT rules. No Supreme Court finding that national results were stolen by machine fraud.

Street claim / unverifiedUpdated 2026-07-21

Distrust is high. Proof of nationwide machine theft is not.

EC points to VVPAT, mock polls, and court-backed procedures. Critics want full paper ballots or larger VVPAT counts. That debate is legitimate. Declaring every loss a hack is not evidence.

Street claim status. If a verified court case later proves a specific booth fraud, update that booth. Do not launder rumour into national 'stolen election' fact.
