  3. Verify the company on MCA or the official careers page.
  4. Complain to the local police cyber or economic offences desk if money was taken.
  5. File on the National Cybercrime portal.
  6. Also use consumer complaint if it was sold as a service.
  7. Warn your college placement cell in writing if a campus agent was involved.
