What to do (step by step)

Note date, time, exact place, and what you saw. Take photos from a safe distance if possible.
Do not confront violent groups alone.
Report to the local Forest / Pollution / Municipal authority in writing.
Use state pollution control board complaint options where available.
File on CPGRAMS naming the district and type of damage.
If wildlife is involved, also use official wildlife / forest channels for your state.
Keep copies of your complaint number. Follow up in writing.

Ask neighbours to complain too. Many letters beat one letter.
Use RTI later if the file stays silent.
