Bank & money
Bank bribe, middleman, or unfair charges
Staff or agent asks money for loan / account work, or charges look wrong.
Who this is for
Customers facing bribe demands or unresolved bank complaints.
Real life (simple)
- A bank staffer says your loan will move faster if you pay a “processing friend” outside the branch.
- Real-life move: refuse, ask for written status of your application, complain to the bank grievance officer first, then RBI CMS if the bank does not answer in their timeline.
What to do (step by step)
- Ask for written explanation of every fee.
- Complaint first to the bank customer care and keep ticket number.
- Escalate inside the bank (branch manager → nodal officer).
- If not resolved, use the RBI Complaint Management System (CMS).
- Keep account statements and emails as proof with you (do not upload to Trishola).
Tips
- Never pay cash to a private agent for "loan approval".
- Official bank fees appear in circulars / schedule of charges.
Warnings
- Do not share OTP or netbanking password with anyone.
Working links
Official emails (public directories)
- The bank's official grievance email (from bank website / passbook / app)
