CJP named Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, Vaishnavi Gaur, Aafreen Nawaz, Deepak Baliyan and Ratna Singh as its spokespersons. Three of the six are women, in a protest the government tried to paint as a mob.

Their open letter to Modi asked one plain question after 15 days of silence: how long will you ignore Jantar Mantar? It also recorded that Dharmendra Pradhan had labelled the protesters terrorists.

Being a named spokesperson for a movement the state has already blocked on X, surveilled, and lathi-charged is a risk. It goes on the record here.
